Mission and Objectives
The project mission to support good practices and to address deficiencies of the university’s colleges, academic units and administrations. Such treatment would ensure a suitable environment for the success of the developmental assessment for institutions and programs. The project nission also includes encouragement for continuous development to the academic programs in preparation for obtaining academic accreditation in the near future.
The general objective of the project is to support the optimum practices of quality assurance and academic accreditation, besides facing the deficiencies of the current practices. That would be accomplished through achieving the following sub-objectives:
· Supporting the planning structure and taking decisions regarding the required plans and programs to quality assurance system, along with determining levels of quality assurance in the university and affiliated departments.
· Managing quality assurance plans in all university’s units and following up its execution. In addition, modify and develop these plans as appropriate.
· Coordinating quality procedures inside the university’s colleges and its other units in a way that ensure coherence between applications and experience exchange in quality field.
· Monitoring aspects of strength indicated by the preliminary self-assessment study, and mentoring challenges that face the university in order to put a preventing and repairing plans for it.
· Developing academic and leadership skills to the university’s human resources so they can enhance education outputs and providing studies needed to obtain such goal.
Providing financial and administrative support to the project teams.
